These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) read together with the privacy policy, disclaimers, and specific rules of Artist Aloud as posted on https://legacy.hungamaartistaloud.com/khazana2025 (the “Website”), govern your access to and participation in the Khazana 2025 event (“Event”). The Website is owned, operated, and managed by Artist Aloud, a division of Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Private Limited (“HDMEPL”).
These Terms apply solely to users who access the Website for the purpose of participating in the Khazana 2025 Ghazal Contest (“Contest”). Participation is entirely voluntary and does not require any subscription, fee, purchase, or download. By accessing or submitting entries through the Website, you (“Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms and any updates thereto, which may be made at the sole discretion of Artist Aloud without prior notice.
All content and material made available through the Website is strictly intended for contest-related purposes, and may not be copied, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited unless expressly permitted in writing by Artist Aloud. The Website may contain event-related elements including entry forms, video/audio submissions, jury announcements, and results.
These Terms are specific to the Contest and do not govern or extend to other services, content, or commercial platforms operated by HDMEPL or its affiliates, including Hungama’s streaming or subscription-based offerings.
Before you explore and/or use the Website, you ("you", "your", "yourself", and/or "user") must carefully review these Terms. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Artist Aloud, in connection with your participation in the Khazana 2025 Ghazal Contest.
By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from participating or using the Website. Unauthorized usage in breach of these Terms may result in legal consequences.
Artist Aloud reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to update, amend, or revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Website or participation in the contest following any such changes shall constitute your acceptance. Artist Aloud also reserves the right to withdraw access to the contest website or modify contest details at any time, without prior notice. You are encouraged to periodically check for updates to these Terms.
To participate in Khazana 2025, each Participant must provide accurate personal information including a valid mobile number, which will be used for receiving a One-Time Password (OTP) to verify and authenticate participation. The OTP mechanism is solely for validation purposes and does not enrol the Participant into any paid service, subscription, or platform operated by Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Private Limited (“HDMEPL”) or its divisions.
By submitting your details, you consent to Artist Aloud collecting and using your information strictly for event-related administration, communication, and internal verification. Your data will not be used for any unrelated promotional or commercial activity unless you have provided explicit, informed consent for such use.
Any false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in disqualification at any stage. Artist Aloud reserves the right to verify the authenticity of Participant data to preserve the fairness and integrity of the Contest.
All registered users have a username and password. It shall be the sole responsibility of the users to maintain the confidentiality and security of their account. You should not reveal your account information to anyone else or use anyone else's account. Your 'user account' and password are personal and should be kept confidential. You agree that you will not allow another person to use your 'user account' to access and use the service under any circumstances.
You are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your 'user account' and for any charges, damages, liabilities or losses incurred or suffered as a result of your failure to do so. Artist Aloud is not liable for any harm caused by or related to the theft of your account information, your disclosure of your 'user account', or your authorization to allow another person to access and use the services using your 'user account'. Furthermore, you are solely and entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account including any charges incurred relating to the services and you agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
Although Artist Aloud will not be liable for any losses you may incur due to any unauthorized use of your 'user account', you may be liable for the losses of Artist Aloud and/or other users due to such unauthorized use. In consideration of your use of the website and services provided therein, you agree, where information is requested, to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself, and to maintain and update it promptly. You agree that if any information you provide is false, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we may terminate your use of the website and/or the services provided there under.
Artist Aloud reserves the right to disqualify, restrict, suspend, or permanently bar any Participant from accessing or participating in Khazana 2025 if such Participant is found to have violated these Terms, provided false information, attempted to tamper with or misuse the Website, or acted in a manner contrary to the spirit of the event.
We also reserve the right to cancel or suspend the contest or any part thereof, without liability, in the event of unforeseen technical, legal, or administrative circumstances beyond our control.
Termination or disqualification under this clause shall be without prejudice to any other remedies available to Artist Aloud in law or equity. Participation in the contest is entirely at the discretion of Artist Aloud, and all decisions regarding disqualification or eligibility shall be final and binding.
Participation in the Khazana Artist Aloud Talent Hunt is voluntary and open globally to individuals who meet the eligibility criteria. By participating, contestants agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. Employees of Artist Aloud and its affiliates are not eligible to participate.
Upon successful registration on the Contest website, the participant will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) for mobile or email verification. Once verified, the registration is considered successful. Participants may upload only one (1) video entry per user via the dashboard. The video must feature the participant performing either an original ghazal or a traditional ghazal (filmy/Bollywood ghazals will not be accepted). Audio-only submissions are not allowed.
All entries will be moderated by Artist Aloud, who holds the sole right to approve or disapprove any content at its discretion. Approved entries will appear under the “Entries” tab on the website.
The submitted video must feature a live performance by the participant and include visible musical accompaniment (e.g., harmonium, tanpura, tabla, guitar, etc.). Videos may be disqualified without notice if:
By submitting the video, the participant grants Artist Aloud a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, distribute, and display the content for promotional, publicity, or marketing purposes across media channels. At its discretion. Ownership of the submitted content remains with the participant, subject to the above license.
Artist Aloud shall not be liable for misuse or unauthorized use of submitted content by third parties.
The Contest includes the following categories:
Adult Category (Ghazal) (18 and above)
Kids Category (Ghazal) (Below 18) – New in 2025
Poetry Category – New in 2025
From the valid entries, the jury will shortlist:
Top 10 contestants from the Adult category
Top 5 contestants from the Kids category
For the Poetry category, participants may submit a video recitation of their original poetry. One (1) winner will be selected to perform at the final Khazana Ghazal Festival 2025. There will be no second round for this category.
Participants shortlisted from other categories will be required to either upload a second-round video or perform live before a jury. This performance must include musical accompaniment. The top two (2) winners from the Adult and/or Kids categories will be invited to perform at the Khazana Ghazal Festival 2025.
Judging decisions shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained.
All travel, accommodation, and related expenses for the second round and final performance shall be borne by the participants. No compensation or honorarium will be provided, other than what is explicitly stated as a prize or benefit.
Artist Aloud shall not be liable for any delay, failure, or disruption of the Contest caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, strike, pandemic, cyberattacks, system failures, or changes in law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
All personal information collected during registration and participation will be used in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Artist Aloud’s Privacy Policy. By entering the Contest, participants consent to such use and agree to receive communications related to the Contest.
Artist Aloud may assign or delegate any of its rights or obligations under these Terms to a third party without notice. Users may not assign their participation or rights without Artist Aloud’s prior written consent.
If any clause of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining clauses shall remain valid and enforceable.
Artist Aloud shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by the contestant arising from or in connection with participation in the Contest, except where such liability is mandated by law.
Artist Aloud reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at its sole discretion. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. All changes will be made available on the Contest platform.
By participating in the Contest, users confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including all legal, technical, and procedural provisions.
